The Family Gathering

For the past 40 years my in-laws have rented a house in Sandbridge, VA for a week-long family gathering. My husband is one of five siblings, and this annual tradition has allowed us and our children to bond with the other siblings and their families. It is a remarkable gift that "Grammy" and "Grandad" shared with us all. These cherished gatherings brought us such joy, fond memories and of course, fabulous food.

SUNRISE QUILT

My Sunrise quilt was inspired by my mother-in-law's daily ritual of watching the sunrise over the ocean while staying at Sandbridge.

MOONRISE QUILT

After creating the sunrise quilt, it seemed that a moonrise quilt would be the perfect compliment.
